Internships

I'm not going to blog about the disappointment I experienced on not getting my exchange application of choice. That is more or less over - the disappointment and of course, the fact I didn't get it. I'm not really overwhelmed by it - underwhelmed might be a better choice of words.

Once again, I'm supposed to be doing some Econs work but instead have chosen to pursue to blog. Why? Because I don't enjoy reading about optimizing utilities based on budget contraints and whatnots. I wish people spoke English, not Econs. Economists from the Neoclassical age must have been very frustrated. This has to be true, because if you've read the Wealth of Nations, you will note that Adam Smith speaks in a really convoluted and roundabout way to basically say that "The butcher didn't sell the meat to you because he loves you, he's doing it for the money". And scarily enough, he was considered insightful. Economists. Wow.

So anyway, it's the big period of internships over at the university where I study. The big internship hunt. This year's palate of internships is looking increasingly sexy and I am quite annoyed by the fact one can only apply for two. Here's a sample of what one can do:
